Stoddard Field

Stoddard Field is Canaan’s town park, with amenities including tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, a playground, pavilion, open fields, gardens, EV charging stations and a pond. It is located on County Route 5 across from Town Hall, and open daily sunrise to sunset. To reserve the park for private functions, contact the Town Clerk.

Canaan is developing a master plan to make Stoddard Field a more accessible and integrated recreational and social resource for the town. The project involves site analysis, concept development and public input to ensure the final plan reflects how residents use the space and what they would like to see in the future.
